Course Syllabus

Welcome to Alternative Firing!  Over the course of the term, we will learn the basics for firing ceramic work three different ways - use the Raku and Wood kilns, and firing in a sagger.

Each one of these techniques will yield different results and will take unique considerations as you create work for each firing.
